Behind my house, there are two Temurui trees—more commonly known as curry leaf trees. These trees produce leaves that are highly valued by many people, typically used as a key flavoring agent in various spiced dishes. What surprised me most, however, was discovering just how beautiful the flowers are; they grow in abundant clusters on a single stalk and are primarily white. Nestled among the blossoms were light green fruits, indicating they were still very young. I discovered this beauty when my mother asked me to pick some curry leaves for a curry dish; I took the opportunity to capture the flowers' loveliness with my mobile phone camera. After taking the photo, I picked two sprigs of leaves and immediately handed them to my mother.

It turns out the leaves have a very strong aroma—so potent that the scent lingered on my hands even though I hadn't even crushed them. According to my mother, this leaf is a key ingredient in spice-rich dishes; the flavor would be lacking without it.
Alright everyone, I’m going to share some photos of the temurui flowers here.
