Coconut palm is a perennial plant in the family of aracaceae that has Feather like fronds which grows up to 4- 6 meters in mature long.They can grow ip to 15-30cm in height.They produce coconuts which are large and contain coconut flesh and water.
Lifespan and growth.
They can live up to 60-80 years when properly taken care of which implies in sandy,well drained soils with full sunlight.
Benefits and uses
The coconut tree are beneficial to humans in the following ways ;
Coconut water are used for hydration
Palm fronds provides sged and prevents erosional
Tree trunk are used for the construction of furniture
Palm fronds are used for thatch roofs and weaving of baskets and mats.
Fibers are used for ropes,mats,brush etc
Coconut are used to make milk and cream
They're can used for traditional medicine for skin,hair.

What part do really love about the plant if you have come in contact,seen or make use of any part of it.As for me i love the coconut and palm fronds which in our native tribe we use it to make brooms.
