Lema praeusta, a type of beetle from the family Chrysomelidae.
This beetle is quite small, around 5-7 mm, but its striking body color makes it easy to see among the green leaves. I saw him resting for a long time on a leaf, probably looking for food or resting. Lema praeusta is known as a pest on certain plants, especially those from the Solanaceae family such as eggplant, because the larvae and adults eat the leaves of these plants.
I took several photos from various angles to document the details of its body, including its fairly long antennae and slightly oval body shape. Unfortunately, when I tried to get closer, the beetle suddenly jumped up and disappeared among the leaves.
