From its shape and characteristics, this is most likely a mushroom from the Genus Marasmius.
Its size is small, its stem is slender like thread, its color is pure white, and its hat is thin like paper, shaped like a tiny umbrella. What's interesting is that this fungus grows on a pile of dry leaves that are starting to rot, so it really shows its role in helping the decomposition process in nature.
Usually mushrooms from this genus really like to appear after it rains, especially in places that are damp and have lots of leaf litter. When you touch the stem it is very flexible, it doesn't break easily. They say that the characteristic of Marasmius is that its stems are strong even though they look thin.
If you're not careful, mushrooms like this are very easy to miss, because they are small in size and sometimes the color matches the surrounding environment. Luckily I accidentally saw it while I was squatting photographing insects nearby.
I'm really happy every time I find mushrooms like this, it makes me more aware of the details of the small lives that we sometimes just pass by around us.
