Ear-shaped mushrooms growing on wood

In our daily lives, we see many types plants, flowers trees. But another great gift nature is mushrooms or fungi. There are many types of mushrooms, some edible, some poisonous. Today I will share with you the story of a special mushroom picked from my workplace. The brown, soft and ear-shaped thing seen in the picture is actually a type of wild mushroom, which many people call wood ear mushroom or jelly ear.

The color is light to dark brown, and it has a jelly-like transparency on its surface. When touched, it feels like something soft rubber. The mushroom usually grows old, wet rotten wood. They are more common during rainy season in humid environments.

This type mushroom mainly grows in forests, rural areas wood warehouses. The mushroom picture has grown on old piece wood. The wood had probably been lying outside for a long time, and the rainwater humid environment created perfect environment for the mushrooms grow. This miracle nature is truly worth seeing.

Wood ear mushrooms are edible used in cooking in many countries. Especially China, Japan, Thailand, and Malaysia, they are added soups, stir-fries, and salads. Although taste is not very different, it is fun chew. It also has some benefits for the body—such improving digestion, keeping the blood clean boosting immunity. However, be careful—not all mushrooms are safe eat. Only familiar mushrooms should be eaten.

This mushroom teaches us that nature never leaves a blank space. Old wood, wet soil rotten trees—new life can be born everywhere. Life does not stop; when one form ends, another begins. This mushroom is a symbol that change.

When I first saw this mushroom, from a distance, it seemed like dry leaf something strange. When I got closer, I saw that it was soft, moist shaped like an ear. I felt its jelly-like texture in my hand. At that moment, I felt how beautifully nature works according its own rules how rarely we notice it.

The mushroom is clearly visible on the old wood. Small stones and soil can be seen through the gaps in the wood, which makes the picture more natural. The combination the brown mushroom with the light pale color wood gives the picture a calm and natural feeling.

This small ear-shaped mushroom nature reminds us how diverse nature is, and how many unknown things are hidden around us. We can enjoy these beauties only by keeping our eyes open. So, in the midst the busyness life, stopping see nature and spending time with it can bring us peace mind.
