I searched through my scraps and found these pieces of fabric and used my creativity playing with colors. I found a piece of sky blue transparent tulle fabric.
I decided to make a fashionable dress. This is a beautiful A-line design, fitted at the waist, a perfect cut to disguise the butt and wide hips, of course if we recreate it for a human model because Barbie's measurements are perfect 😅.
In the front it is short to the knees and long in the back. It is an elegant and simple dress. It is made in fine mesh fabric, resistant, soft and gives volume to the piece.
I cut the blouse with the pattern of the model's dress, sleeveless, with magic zipper in the back and in the neck I placed white lace with gold.
For the circular skirt: with the fabric I cut a square, then I folded it in the shape of a triangle and passed a circular line at the bottom and cut, leaving a circle, then I folded a little, leaving one part bigger than the other and folded again as a triangle and cut the top part marking a small circle for the waist, guided by the measurements of the model.
I joined the blouse and the skirt with a white ribbon. And around the skirt a gold ribbon. And that's how I got my granddaughter's Barbie dress. I hope you liked it, see you in the next installment.

Busqué en mis retazos y encontré estos pedazos de telas y usé mi creatividad jugando con los colores. Encontré un pedazo de tela tul transparente de color azul cielo.
Decidí hacer un vestido a la moda. Este es un hermoso diseño tipo A, ajustado a la cintura, un corte perfecto para disimular el trasero y las caderas anchas, claro si lo recreamos para una modelo humana porque las medidas de la Barbie son perfectas 😅.
En la parte delantera es corto hasta las rodillas y largo en la parte de atrás. Es un vestido elegante y sencillo. Está confeccionado en tela de malla fina, resistente, suave y da volumen a la pieza.
Corté la blusa con el patrón del vestido de la modelo, sin mangas, con cierre mágico en la espalda y en el cuello le coloqué encaje blanco con dorado.
Para la falda circular: con la tela corté un cuadro, luego la doblé en forma de triángulo y pasé una línea circular en la parte de abajo y corté, quedando un círculo, después doblo un poco, quedando una parte más grande que la otra y vuelvo a doblar como triángulo y corto la parte de arriba marcando un círculo pequeño para la cintura, guiándome por las medidas de la modelo.
Uní la blusa y la falda con un listón blanco. Y alrededor de la falda cinta dorada. Y así me quedó el vestido de la Barbie de mi nieta. Espero que les haya gustado, nos leemos en una próxima entrega.
