Making Cargo pants become way easier when you do it severally, I still remember the first time I was trying on making cargo pants, it was a bit challenging but now I find it way more easier.
So that brings us to this particular cargo trouser I made, more than the satisfaction I derived from finishing it and it looking beautiful, it also made me realize something else about myself, I learnt that I can still work under extreme pressure.
Yes my aunt came to our town for some errands and since it was really late she had to sleep over at our place, when she arrived at night, it was already 10:00 pm when she asked that I make a cargo trouser for her that she wants to buy. I was really tired, having worked all day and all I needed that night was rest. But I knew if I didn't sew it that night it's going to cost me delivery money to send it to her in the other town where she lives, so I had to do it.
So I drank enough water, stretched myself and laid out the fabric to start cutting. I loved the color of fabric she chose, it's like a brighter shade of navy blue.
So I cut everything, the front piece, the back piece, the pockets and all...
Then I got sewing and yawning in the process, even my machine didn't cooperate too well. But one thing I knew for sure was that I was going to finish the trouser that night so at a point I had to start fixing my machine again, the rope was kinda lose I tightened it, tightened some nuts and it was working again...so I got back to the sewing
I did everything possible not to let my tiredness affect my stitches or placing of the pockets, I pinned everything down accordingly and was able to achieve a good and neat stitch.
By 2:15 am in the morning was when I finished the trouser and she was awake she tried it on, but the waist needed some adjustment , so I marked where it did and went back to the machine to fix it. After that she tried it again and it was perfect on her. After that I just fell into the bed to get the long prolonged sleep.
In the morning I was able to take the photo of the trouser on her and it was amazing.

I just love the color, and the way the pockets was placed, everything looked really beautiful. And my aunt she was really happy for her trouser that she even wore it immediately to go back to the city where she lives.
We can all agree are creatives that the best feeling after creating something is when someone else really admires your work, it gives so much joy. So yes, the joy I felt overshadowed every stress I passed through in making this trouser, Tiredness doesn’t always defeat creativity when you’re determined. I'm so happy I did it, and I'm glad I share it here too. Thank you all for your time! And let's keep creating 💪
