It's going to be a hard job then. If there's food laying around, you won't be able to get rid of them. They say pigeons are the rats of the sky and most likely it is true, even if they are a bit cuter than rats.

I used to take care of pigeons during college but it's not fun anymore since they have a lot more options than cats and are 10x safer and likely to survive especially during the winter :/

That is all true and why it is not recommended to feed them.
