An easy technique for making Cups

in NeedleWorkMonday3 days ago (edited)

Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well! I’m delighted to be able to share with you a very simple and practical way to make a pattern for the cups, simply using a female mannequin as a base, along with masking tape, a marker pen, scissors and fabric for making the cups.

1

Start by sticking the adhesive tape onto the mannequin in small pieces to cover the surface of the right-hand side of the mannequin.

2

I stuck tape all over the right-hand side of the mannequin to make the most of that area and create the shape of a corset. But as you can clearly see, I made the cuts in the cape marked with the numbers 1, 2 and 3.

3

I cut these three patterns out of the dress form using scissors and stuck them onto white sheets of paper, then placed the patterns onto the fabric.

4

I transferred the patterns onto the fabric in the same way, cut them out and then took them to be sewn, joining the pieces together in the correct order and direction!

This is the wonderful result I achieved. I hope you liked it! Thank you very much for dropping by. Best wishes and blessings to you all.
