She was my dormitory mate in senior high school.I wouldn’t say we were friends, more like acquaintances. After I started my crocheting business, she would randomly reach out to me to make an order and when it was time for payment, she would be no where to be found. My terms and conditions was 50% payment before I start your order and the remaining payment after I send you pictures of your work. Then after receiving the remaining payment, I deliver your order. For about three times, she placed orders and never made paid payment. I also never really took her serious until one day,she surprisingly she made payment.
She told me she wanted them very big so I did exactly that. Afterwards,I sent her pictures and she was so happy. I requested for the rest of the payment and she ignored me.I wasn’t bothered because I had already taken the payment for the materials I used and the remaining payment was for my workmanship.
A week went by and I still hadn’t heard from her so I texted her again only for her to tell me “her boyfriend said he wanted her to order something revealing so I should try and do something about it”.
What?!First of all,any crocheter that has made a bralette knows what that meant. It meant I would have to undo everything and reduce the bra cups since she initially wanted them bigger.
I exercised patient and did what she wanted.I sent her pictures and just like the first time she was happy about it.I asked for payment and she ignored me again. At this point I decided not to mind her anymore.
One day,I had a surprise bank alert from her with a command to deliver her order in the next hour.I wasn’t home,I had travelled to a different city for a wedding so I explained the situation to her.
Just about five minutes after my call with her, I had a call from an unknown number, only for me to answer and hear all manner of insults and threats from a guy who claimed to be her boyfriend. He asked me to either deliver the order in the next hour or refund his girlfriend’s money.I was really scared but thankfully my mom was around and asked me not to worry.
When I returned back from my trip,I asked a rider to deliver her order. She received her package ,tried them on and sent me pictures which surprised me because this was the same person who sent her boyfriend to threaten me.
Days later, she tried making another order and I told her I was fully booked. That was the last time I heard from her.
