WERE THERE EVER Civilizations equal-or superior
to our own ?

I'm particularly struck by how scientists and historians tend to overlook the possibility of ancient technological advancements and great disasters that may have interrupted history. It's fascinating to consider that ancient structures could have rivaled modern skyscrapers in scale and complexity.
Pythagoras, Greek philosopher and scientist,
circa 570 B.C., is generally credited for the discovery that the Earth is a sphere like the Sun and the Moon, that the stars are spherical and like our own Sun, and that all cosmic bodies radiate an invisible force or power that affects geophysical events.
Another Greek, Anaximander, built the first gnomon for astronomical observations in Lacedaemon. With it, he was able to predict in detail the earthquakes that ultimately destroyed that city.
In 1704, Isaac Newton, who specialized in the
study of ancient sciences, announced that in February 1750, when the Moon would be in perigee during a solar eclipse, and the great planet Jupiter also closest to the Earth, the Aurora Borealis would appear, followed by terrible storms and earthquakes that would batter England and devastate
London.
Twenty-three years after his death the Northern
Lights flickered on schedule; then came death dealing storms with 100-mile-per-hour winds followed by a roaring series
Talking of Newton's astrometeorological abilities that were derived from ancient sources that Kepler later expanded Annd also added considerably to the work of Aristotle, Ptolemy, Galileo and others; in fact his initial fame not through astronomy, but through his remarkably accurate long records was derived, Still the Western scholars of the 10th century through the 16th century did not conceive of industrial development: they were convinced that civilization was more advanced than it had ever been or was ever likely to become. They didn't know they were living in what would be called the "Dark Ages " range planetary weather forecasting.
This seems to be influenced by different factors and humans actives.
I source to think of how we're equally guilty of the same sort of "time chauvinism." We consider the present age as the most enlightened and superior in all history, and Atlantis a myth. The evidence, however, that we're neither the greatest nor the most advanced culture. The possibility that history may have been interrupted by terrible disasters is not taken seriously by scientists or historians.
We simply taken seriously by scientists or historians. don't think in terms of great technological advancement during remote ancient times. We also talk at the notion that ancient structures could have been compared to modern skyscrapers.
Yet many were.
Even some of the thought indicate that some were taller. It's equally inconceivable to me that a great university with a hospital, a surgical theater, library and comfortable living quarters for 14,000 students was thriving around the time of the Biblical Deluge. Yet the Library of Alexandria had all this and consider the present age as the most enlightened
as I keep up wondering about the nature of civilization we got and in plan to achieve growth.
Reflection insight on the above matters
In conclusion and summary I want to reflect on the threshold of thoughts with the clear insight to the above matters.
Now stress down with me as I ponder the legacy of historical figures like Kepler and Newton, I'm struck by how our understanding of the world has evolved over time. We often dismiss the achievements of ancient civilizations, Yet, evidence still suggests that our culture is neither the greatest nor the most advanced.

Perhaps it's time to reevaluate our assumptions about the past and consider the possibility that ancient cultures were more advanced than we often give them credit for. By doing so, we may uncover new insights and perspectives that can inform our understanding of the world and our place within it.
What insight can you draw from the two reflects how do we find equilibrium between the old and present civilization.
