Every time the HIVE token inflates, 10% of it automatically goes to the DHF (Decentralized Hive Fund) which is held by the hive.fund Hive account. π€π In theory, the fund can reach more than a billion HBD and can be as low as zero. πΈπ€―π€―π The 90% of inflation goes to authors, curators, Hive Power holders, and Hive Witnesses as explained on my 2-year-old comment. π€π

It's inefficient to perform testing on the Decentralized Hive Fund by making a test proposal there, as creating a proposal costs $10 and costs $1 per day while active (neither upcoming nor expired). π€π€― It will also attract the scrutiny of people with high amounts of Hive Power. π€―π€

Yeah, I don't see testing like that going over well on the DHF at all. It would certainly attract attention of those with some clout, that's for sure. π π π β¨ π€

Since making a test Hive proposal requires payment of more than 10 HBD, I doubt that it will be intentionally used for cluttering the proposals feed. π€π€―
There should also be an option for Hive frontend users to simply hide a given proposal (or all proposals from a Hive account) if they don't like it. π€π§ββοΈπ€

That's a lot. Given how much the initial cost is, and how much it costs each day to keep the proposal up, I can't imagine that I'll be creating a proposal any time soon.
Yes, filtering by account should be possible, too, of course. I've definitely been realizing that some people really don't like how the HBD for various funded proposals is being spent, so that option would be useful I think. π π π β¨ π€

Being able to vote against any Hive proposal should mean that the return proposal would no longer be needed (imagine people voting against the return proposal itself). π€―π€
