Oh, and it depends on the type of reply it gets from the node, because sometimes, it keeps polling at the node for eternity..
!HOPE that you are able to launch (and maintain) your own Hive node (soon), so that your bots would no longer have to communicate with third-party nodes! 🤗🤯😅

I have... It is implemented for all of the bots that I created, or am working on. By the two bots I mean BBH & Alive, the two that I work on, but are not originally mine :-)
They are all keeping track of the last block they've worked on. However, if they are expecting a certain block, and the node can't deliver that for 5 tries, it will go to the next node, for 5 tries, it does that for 3 nodes, then calls it quits, and goes to the next block.
