That's what I would like to get implemented for most Hive token tipping bots (and Hive bots in general, especially those which often stop working for minutes, hours, or days at a time). 😅

I have... It is implemented for all of the bots that I created, or am working on. By the two bots I mean BBH & Alive, the two that I work on, but are not originally mine :-)
They are all keeping track of the last block they've worked on. However, if they are expecting a certain block, and the node can't deliver that for 5 tries, it will go to the next node, for 5 tries, it does that for 3 nodes, then calls it quits, and goes to the next block.
