City gardening

in Ecency4 hours ago

Gardening on a balcony in the city doesn't require a wheelbarrow, only lots of trips up and down from the underground parking garage and then up in the elevaror and through the hallway and into the living room, then outdoors!

The plants were purchased in Wisconsin at my nearby garden center and transported back to Chicago.. Prices were much more reasonable than at the city greenhouses.

Busik wants to participate in the action, or possibly he is just looking for a cozy place for a nap!

The neighbors requested the purchase of plants for their planter boxes, too. Red Superbells were chosen for them, and pink for in my kids planters.
After several attempts over the years of planting various other types of flowers Superbells have performed the best.

The vines in all the boxes are the same and will add some unity to the front of the building as they grow down.

Now to hookup the collapsible garden hose to the kitchen sink to get everything well wartered.

Wow, your balcony garden looks so nice! The pink flowers are really beautiful. But my favorite part is Busik sleeping in the pot! I love cats a lot, and he looks so cute and cozy there. It seems like a lot of hard work to make a garden in the city, but your balcony looks amazing now.❤️❤️

Saludos nos tante el sacrificio vale la pena cuando se ve resultado ,no son todas las personas que cultivan o saben cultivar ,pero las flores en los balcones son una vista maravillosa

Pink one are so full of colors. The whole setup is so beautiful and decent. Once again, the cat is playing hide and seek 🤭.

I love it! Very nice city garden, @melinda010100! 👍

looking good Melinda , although in our building we need to hang the planters on the inside of the balcony not on the outside so that people won't get wet when they walk underneath it and you are watering them. !PIMP
