Greetings, @ecency community, it's a pleasure to be here for the first time, bringing you a post. I was inspired to post because I read the community description, and according to my translator, it says:

Posts on general topics are welcome.

And I want to tell you a story about one of those you feel the need to share. However, very few people around me like to hear about The Rain. I understand. There are things, for ordinary people, that are more important than hearing about the peculiar smell of geosmin.

However, here I am making my first post on #ecency to share with you a special moment, the second encounter I recently had with this natural phenomenon: The Rain.

Last Monday, I had my first encounter with The Rain; while I was at work, and without any warning signs, in the middle of my work, the tender drops of life arrived with their peculiar and unmistakable scent. And who doesn't love the smell of rain? That special scent of wet earth.

At my first meeting, I hadn't appreciated this beautiful wonder of nature for months. In my country, temperatures have been high almost all year round, hence my excitement and delight in seeing, feeling, and enjoying this precious gift that nature gives us, along with my colleagues and students.

At this second meeting, from the early hours of the morning, there was a tranquil and sublime foreshadowing of the approaching rainy day. Drops of water began to fall at midday, just as I was starting my workday. The rain was accompanied by an unusual calm.

I work with teenagers, and it's not very common to feel such calm on our campus; however, the cool weather and the cold air kept our students calm. We teachers were able to enjoy our educational work and appreciate the cool atmosphere that was felt in the air.

Appreciating moments like this brings me joy and fills me with well-being. Personally encountering the rain and feeling it touch my skin is one of my greatest pleasures. Nature revitalizes us and reminds us that it is unique, wonderful, and untamable.

When my workday ended and it was time to retire, the raindrops began to fall even more heavily. At first, I was reluctant to leave, but when I realized it wouldn't stop raining, and much like my first encounter with the rain, I decided to set off and get drenched again. My second encounter with rain this year was head-on and I couldn't avoid it.

Blessed rain, so necessary for our well-being and that of the plants around us. We will see the bushes and trees bloom in all their splendor, and above all, we hope that its much-needed water will irrigate the mango trees, which need it so much at this time of year, since we depend on it for a good harvest of such exquisite fruit, awaited by all. Like the rain, our beloved fruit is approaching.

No obstante, aquí estoy haciendo mi primera publicacion en #ecency
para compartir con ustedes un momento especial, el segundo encuentro que tuve recientemente con este fenómeno de la naturaleza: La Lluvia.

El lunes pasado tuve mi primer encuentro con La Lluvia; estando en mi trabajo y sin ningún indicio que nos alertara, en plena faena laboral llegaron las tiernas gotas de vida con su peculiar e indudable olor. Y es que ¿A quién no le gusta oler la lluvia? ese olor particular a tierra mojada.

En mi primer encuentro tenía meses sin apreciar esta hermosa maravilla de la naturaleza. En mi país ha habido unas temperaturas alta casi todo el año, por eso mi emoción y deleite al ver, sentir y dusfrutar este precioso regalo que nos da la naturaleza junto a mis colegas y estudiantes.

En este segundo encuentro ya había desde tempranas horas de la mañana un tranquilo y sublime presagio del día lluvioso que se acercaba. Empezaron a caer las gotas de agua a pleno mediodía justo empezando mi jornada laboral, la lluvia vino acompañada de una calma poco común.

Trabajo con adolescentes y no es muy habitual sentir tanta calma en nuestro recinto educativo; sin embargo, el tiempo fresco y con aires fríos mantuvo calmados a nuestros estudiantes. Pudimos los docentes disfrutar de nuestra labor educativa y apreciar el frio clima que se respiraba y sentía en el ambiente.

Apreciar momentos como este me regocija y me llenan de bienestar, encontrarme personalmente con la lluvia y sentirla tocar mi piel es uno de mis grandes placeres. La naturaleza nos revitaliza y nos recuerda que es única, maravillosa e indomable.

Cuando terminó mi jornada laboral y correspondía retirarme, arreció con más fuerza las gotas de lluvia, al principio estaba renuente de retirarme, pero al comprender que no dejaría de llover y muy parecido a mi primer encuentro con la lluvia decidí emprender mi marcha y empaparme nuevamente. Mi segundo encuentro con la lluvia este año y fue de frente y sin poder evitarlo.

Bendita lluvia tan necesaria para nuestro bienestar y el de las plantas que nos rodean. Veremos florecer las matas y árboles en todo su esplendor y sobre todo esperamos que su necesaria agua riegue a los árboles de mangos que para esta época lo necesitan tanto, ya que de ella dependemos para que haya una buena cosecha de tan exquisito fruto esperados por todos. Es que al igual que la lluvia, nuestra amada fruta se avecina.
