A wonderful program was organized on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, where at the Academy, a speech competition and a program to appreciate teachers was arranged. At the Academy, we always try to hold programs on every occasion and, as much as possible, give students awareness about history. This is very must to keep on memorizing students about important events which is very necessary for them.

In the academy, around 230–250 students are studying different subjects. About 20 staff members and teachers are serving in this academy and trying for the training and guidance of the students in the best way possible. On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, after holding a staff meeting, it was decided to celebrate this great day. This is because its a great event which must be celebrated because teaches deserve more respect as they have are fulfilling the great responsibility.

Everyone agreed on this, and the program was arranged at night, when most of the classes were off. It was a surprise program. All students were invited, but the details about the event were not shared. Similarly, all teachers were also invited so they could be given a surprise congratulations on this great day. Some teachers asked me what is the reason for this gathering I told them its a surprise.

The famous scholar of the city, Ali Hasnain, and the head of the academy were also invited to deliver speeches. In the same way, some other respected and important people were also invited. The main purpose of this program was to appreciate the teachers and to remind the students of such valuable events.

World Teachers’ Day

The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, and after that, some students delivered wonderful speeches related to Teachers’ Day. In the end, the famous scholar of the city, Allama Ali Hasnain, delivered an excellent speech. He talked about the importance of teachers and gave a lesson to students on how they should behave with their teachers, how they should treat with them and what must they think about the status of any teacher.

The program was short but very meaningful. At the end of the event, the scholar said to all the students that he would repeat a few lines and everyone should say them after him. The historical line was “Happy Teachers’ Day to all teachers.” Truly, this sentence made all the teachers very satisfied and it was a beautiful moment of happiness.

The program ended, and during this time, some photos were taken. Organizing such programs is very important because they are not only valuable for students but also play a great role in motivating teachers.

Now the question arises, what was the benefit of this program? Surely, there were many benefits. The first one is that teachers felt happy and motivated from this event, and from now on, they will teach with more passion and hard work. The second benefit is that students understood the importance of their teachers and from now onward, they will show more respect and behave politely with them.

Surely, the status of teachers is very high. After parents, teachers deserve the most respect. Those who make their parents or teachers angry surely God also remains displeased with them. Similarly, teachers become the reason for the development of society, and the honor of a community lies in its teachers.
