So I dropped an entire cup of tea over my laptop keyboard, thus destroying my favourite ever laptop.

What is good these days in the laptop world that aren't $15,000? Something balanced, great for heavy duty work like music production?

I've had nothing but bad experiences with 'em here. But it's an old laptop and I've been looking for a replacement for a very long time. There's just been nothing in the new generations that even remotely impress me...

Let the laptop air for a few days. Put it upside down. It might end up being fine once it fully dries, assuming it wasn't an entire cup.

If you can open it up, that'll also help.

I need for work so didn't have time to air for a few days, but I did exactly that as long as I could. When home, opened it up and found miraculously none of the liquid breached the keyboard layer so, sticky keys aside, SO FAR things are ok...
