If a magic genie could grant me one wish , I certainly know that one wish I wouldn't have to think too hard about my answer.
I would wish for a life for me and my kids,,Now I feel like thats one thing thats still not quite right in my life, When people hear "a life " they think it means becoming super rich or living a fancy lifestyle.. That is not what I mean.
A better life means having stability, it means waking up every day without worrying about how things will work out.
A better life means having enough to take care of my kids meet our needs and still have peace of mind.
As a parent my priorities have changed. I still have dreams for myself, My kids are part of every dream I have, their future is connected to mine, So when I think about what I want most I don't think about cars or huge mansions.
I think about opportunities, I think about growth.
I think about giving my kids a life where they can focus on becoming who they want to be without stress.
I think about supporting their education, interests and dreams without worrying about the cost, that is what a better life looks like to me.
Honestly it is not just about money. It's about having peace of mind, It is about being healthy.
It is about healing from experiences.
It is about waking up with hope, not fear.
It is about enjoying life not getting through it.
Life has taught me a lot over the years, there have been moments, moments that made me cry moments that made me question myself and moments that made me stronger.
Looking back I can see how far I have come.
I can also see how far I still want to go, That is why if a genie appeared today and offered me one wish I would use it for something than just myself.
I would wish for a life for me and my kids.
A life with opportunities.
A life with peace, A life where hard work pays off, a life where we can look back and be grateful that we kept going even when things were tough.
Because when my kids are okay happy and growing into the version of themselves I know I'll be happy too.
So yes if I had one wish that would be it, Not perfection, not wealth, Just a better life, for me and my kids.
Honestly that is a wish I wouldn't hesitate to make.
