I just did something crazy! It's crazy, i'm regretting it a bit but i'm happy. I don't know anymore, all I think right now is that it's alright. The end! Lol
I have an old phone which is a gift from Mommy F. It's Oppo A3s and I got it brand new last December 2018. I was able to use it until Nov 2021, something happened to that phone that day that I thought I wont be able to use it anymore. Right at that moment, the same day, I decided to buy a new phone using my earnings in read.cash. But of course I had to borrow money to Mommy F first because I can't withdraw my money coz it's in that phone.
It's really a good thing that I always write down my newly created passwords, emails, account and my passphrase on my notebook. Thanks to that I was able to safely recover everything including my crypto wallet account and withdraw the money after buying a new phone. I bought the Oppo A54 and it has nicer specs. By the way I borrowed ₱10,000 pesos to my Mom to buy the phone and pay it immediately after withdrawing the money.
So I finally have a new phone, everything's already settled. But then, 3 days after buying the new phone, I was able to open my Oppo A3s again. The battery just got drained too much that I couldn't open it. So what I did was charge it all day and then in the afternoon and I was able to open it again. It's not broken, just had a drained battery ಥ‿ಥ. That's why never drain the battery of your phone guys or you'll regret it later. (ﾉﾟ0ﾟ)ﾉ→
I learned my lesson that day and charge my phone immediately at 20% or 30%. Seriously, even though my Oppo A3s got drained faster back then, I don't have the plan to replace it yet. With the things I did with that phone and the help I got from it, another thing is, it's a gift from Mommy F, so I don't have any plan to buy a new phone. But then, yeah, I just had no choice. My Oppo A3s let me explore some things on the internet, including the crypto verse.
I also discovered the cryptoblogging sites like read.cash, Publish0x, and then Hive. But anyways, I like the new phone I bought, which is the Oppo A54, and guys, I bought it using my hard-earned money, so I love it and give care and importance to it just like I did with my old phone (人 •͈ᴗ•͈). I bought it last November, 2021. Then, on April 21, 2025, or foive days ago, I impulsively bought a new phone, which is a different brand. ⟵(๑¯◡¯๑)
This time I got the Honor X7c <(￣︶￣)↗. And just like with my old phones, I bought it without doing any research. And the reason why I bought it? My Oppo A54 is lagging so much that some applications crash, and I hate it. Another thing is the battery gets drained faster now ⊙﹏⊙. If before I could use it from 6 to 8 pm, now it only lasts for 8 to 9 hours, while my Oppo A3s lasts for 4 to 5 hours. Yes, I still use my Oppo A3s until now. And I use them continuously, with open data and an open browser, sometimes with music too.
I'm using my Oppo A54 for 3 years and 5 months now so buying phone today is just right no? But really, now that I think about it, I don't really need a new one. If I hard Reset my Oppo A54, everything will be okay again for sure especially my main issue on that phone is it keeps on lagging, it's too slow, and I was super annoyed because of that. So I finally have the solution, I can just hard reset it - but then i'm facing another dilemma...
How about my important photos, files, application, as in everything? That's the second main problem. And so, in the end, I bought a new phone. On the furst two days I was able to stop myself from buying a new phone. But after that, bogshhhhh! It just happened, lol. I'm happy with it, I love the specs though the camera sucks, but at least now it is bigger, has a lot of space and with it's bigger, it just fit perfectly to my big hands and fingers. I love it. No regrets, just a little bit. Hahaha.
At first, I'm thinking of using my Hive earnings here to buy that phone, but I keep on convincing myself not to touch it. So the next thing I know, I am already touching my Pi coin, sending it to OKX, and selling 400 Pi. This is what I'm regretting the most, selling it at a low price. I held back when its price was still ranging from $2 to $1.8 only to sell it at $0.64, seriously (≧▽≦). But well, I avoided touching my Hive, so it's okay. At least I got my Pi for free, so it's okay for me to spend it. I didn't even spend much on it, just a little bit of my time.
Really crazy no? Arghh! I shouldn't make this as a habit, it's not a good habit, aside from that it can also drain savings. So never again, lol. I'll be wiser to use my money from now on... Should I? Ah (≧▽≦)
But anyways, im still keeping the box of my old phones. I don't like to throw it and I feel like I'm obsess with them now, haha. I really like their boxes you see, the quality is just so good. Do you throw yours when the phone broke or nah?
