What This Year Has Taught Me to Let Go Of

Hello dear @ladiesofhive community

What have I unlearned during the first half of this year?

I do not think I have completely changed who I am, but I have started to let go of something that used to weigh heavily on me: the feeling that I had to accomplish everything every single day.

For a long time, if I left something unfinished, I felt guilty.

There was always one more task waiting.

The house, the cooking, the sewing, the crafts, and all the little responsibilities that seem endless.

This year I have begun to understand that not every day has the same rhythm or the same possibilities.

Sometimes circumstances decide for us.

Power outages, lack of water, or simply physical and mental exhaustion remind me that I cannot control everything.

Instead of feeling frustrated, I am trying to accept that doing my best is enough.

There will always be another day to continue.

That change in the way I think has given me a little more peace.

It has not solved my problems, but it has made carrying them a little easier.

What good news would truly make me happy?

Fortunately, life still surprises us with small pieces of good news from time to time.

A visit from someone we love, a phone call, or simply knowing that our family is healthy can brighten an ordinary day.

But if I could choose the news I most wish to hear right now, it would be something very simple.

I would love to hear that life is becoming a little easier for everyone.

That basic food is more affordable.

That electricity is more stable.

That families no longer have to spend so much energy worrying about things that should be ordinary.

I do not dream of luxury.

I dream of peace of mind.

Of waking up without wondering what unexpected difficulty the day will bring.

I believe that would be wonderful news, not only for me, but for many families.

These two questions reminded me that sometimes the greatest changes are not the ones that happen around us, but the ones that happen inside us.

Learning to let go of guilt and keeping hope alive are also ways of moving forward.

Thank you for reading.

Hola querida comunidad @ladiesofhive

¿Qué buena noticia me haría realmente feliz?

I completely removed all social media apps from my phone. When I'm free, I spend my time here and read, it's a really nice place to chill.

There are countless ways to feel terrible..take for example, living in an unstable third world country where the harder we work, the more expensive things get. But this isn't just happening in our country. Shifting your outlook is really just a matter of mindset. There are days when I feel like I'm not moving forward in life and just feeling stuck, so i come here, suck up some good reads, and feel much better. Thank goodness I came across your post. This is good news. Optimistic people are good news. 💕
