I'm very lucky because my job is pretty laid-back; it's not as demanding as other jobs, so it allows me to have fun or unwinding moments with my colleagues almost every day. I'm the newest member of the group and the youngest, so I adapted pretty quickly. Our office is the epicenter of everything; it's where we sit and chat every day and where everyone stops by to say hello. They always come here to tell us about things happening in other areas, to laugh, and also to share their problems or situations. We talk about everything here!
Soy muy afortunada ya que mi trabajo es bastante tranquilo, no es tan exigente como quizás otros trabajos así que me permite tener momentos de diversión o distracción con mis compañeras casi todos los días. Soy la más nueva del grupo y la más joven entonces me adapté bastante rápido. Nuestra oficina es el epicentro de todo, es donde todos los días nos sentamos a conversar y a donde todos pasan a saludar. Siempre vienen aquí a contarnos las cosas que suceden en otras áreas, a reír y también a contar sus problemas o situaciones. Aquí se habla de todo!
We usually share coffee, a snack, gossip of course, and our daily anecdotes. We know each other quite well and we know each other's families too, so it's like always being on complete confidence. It's something I really enjoy; my job doesn't burden me at all. I've made good friends since I started working here. Sometimes at the end of the day we go to someone's house and cook, we've gone to the beach, we go out downtown, and we joke around all the time.
Acostumbramos a compartir el café, alguna merienda, los chismes por supuesto, y nuestras anécdotas diarias. Nos conocemos bastante y conocemos a nuestras familias también así que es como estar en plena confianza siempre, es algo que disfruto mucho, mi trabajo no me pesa para nada. He hecho buenas amigas desde que comencé a trabajar aquí, a veces al terminar el día vamos a casa de alguna y preparamos comida, hemos ido a la playa, salimos al centro y nos estamos haciendo bromas todo el tiempo.
But I also enjoy going out with my friends and family on the weekends. I think it helps me disconnect a bit from my work, and from my routines with school and sports. My husband loves taking us out to eat, so I'm blessed with the fact that we go out to eat about 3 times a month. It's his love language, but that's a different topic, haha. It's our time to share some of the details of our days and plan others. The truth is, I have a good group of coworkers, good friends, and a beautiful family that gives me my greatest moments of relaxation and fun.
Pero disfruto también salir con mis amigas y mi familia los fines de semana, creo que eso me desconecta un poco de mi trabajo, y de las rutinas con la escuela y los deportes. A mi esposo le encanta llevarnos a comer entonces tengo la dicha de que salimos a comer a la calle unas 3 veces por mes, es su lenguaje del amor pero ese es otro tema jaja, es nuestro tiempo para contarnos algunos detalles de nuestros días y planear otros. Lo cierto es que tengo un buen grupo de compañeras de trabajo, tengo buenas amigas y tengo una familia hermosa que me da mis más grandes momentos de relax y diversión.
I enjoy all these spaces in my life, all the people around me, and I feel that, although I'm very demanding with everyday things so that everything goes well, I also tend to be very calm and relaxed about things that don't go as I want. Partly because I feel balanced with my family, work, and friends. I'm in a great place; my life is in complete harmony, and that's a blessing I'm grateful for every day.
Disfruto de todos estos espacios en mi vida, de todas las personas que me rodean y siento que, aunque soy muy exigente con las cosas diarias para que todo salga bien, también suelo ser muy tranquila y relajada con las cosas que no salen como quiero. En parte porque me siento en equilibrio con mi familia, trabajo y amistades. Estoy en un gran momento, mi vida está en completa armonía y eso es una bendición que agradezco cada día.
