I would like to master the English language

I only speak Spanish and would like to learn English. On the one hand, I like English because it's a language widely used in several countries, allowing me to interact with people when traveling. On the other hand, I also think that many instruments, catalogs, books, artifacts, and technologies are programmed to receive instructions in English, and the user manual is also available in this language, so I think it would be a great help for managing technologies. Regarding books, it's worth noting that some literary authors (for example) have only managed to publish their original series in English, and anyone who likes to read and doesn't master the language could encounter this inconvenience when trying to follow their favorite author. The same applies to university or scientific texts.

I remember in my professional environment, working at the university hospital, on one occasion we had recently arrived equipment with manuals in English, and we always had limited language skills to operate it. The only option was to rely exclusively on personnel who had been trained in this area. I am referring to some medical equipment such as: Ultrasonogram, imaging, tomograph and magnetic resonance, These contain software in English and provide results in that language. Of course, there was dedicated IT technical staff to operate the machines, but the reading and interpretation of reports was the responsibility of the healthcare staff.

In the same vein, I personally aspire to live in another country in the near future where English is possibly the most widely spoken language, or at least second only to the native language. Specifically for that reason, I would like to thoroughly learn English grammatically, technically, and conversationally, so that it doesn't represent a social barrier that could negatively influence my environment, nor that of my family, who are also included in the life plan and command of the aforementioned language. In fact, I know it would also represent a great advantage for my daughters' integration into school.

I think everyone might be interested in mastering a second language, or a language other than their native one. Everyone has their own goals and knows why they would do it. In my case, it's a future direction I know will benefit me, and I'm willing to explore it. To that end, I'm already starting to take the first steps in my studies and making progress. To conclude this language-related point, I must say that, if I were to move to another country, I would like to work for an academy and apply to become a Spanish teacher. I believe I have a fairly good command of Spanish grammatically, enough to teach and help others in that area. I would be able to contribute my part, culturally speaking, and integrate myself practically into the foreign society where I might live.

(A captivating family atmosphere where we could meet and relive memorable moments. Away from the routine and reconnected with our own senses at a family dinner for a host and five guests.)

A dinner in confidence

When planning a dinner party, the host must consider several parameters, including the likely personal tastes of their guests, the atmosphere, the drinks (non-alcoholic), the date and time of the event, and the privacy and tranquility of the guests. I like family dinners because they don't require much protocol, as close family members are more than understanding and usually have similar tastes. Without a doubt, I would invite my five closest loved ones to dinner: my two daughters, my mother, my mother-in-law, and of course my husband.

For this occasion, I would make sure to surprise them, since the dinner wouldn't be at home, but in a quiet place, perhaps like the terrace of a hotel, an inn, or a restaurant located on the shore from the sea. A peaceful open-air setting simply decorated with wooden tables and chairs, a traditional palm roof, and a wide view of the sea waters where the sound of the waves, the lapping of the wind, and the sunset can be heard. I know our conversations would be successful because we all get along well; we would hear each other's voices, those of us from different generations, and it would be fun to interact with each other's conversations.

My mother and mother-in-law would surely be pleased to see us as a united family and to know that their advice and efforts to shape us into good people were not in vain. Then, it would be time for lunch, and with everyone ordering something to their liking, it would surely be a satisfying dinner. Served by waiters, with soft background music, there would be plenty of time to relax and have a change in a place other than our homes. For the older ones, it would be a real treat, delighted to be served with such attention to detail and care; the little ones would order anything they wanted, without excess, even dessert and more.

The man of the house (my husband) would tell stories about his work progress and family projects, surely taking the opportunity to plan another subsequent meeting somewhere else. Afterward, he would arrange with my mother-in-law (his mother) to tell one of those childhood stories. Afterward, and I can assure you of this, he would run with the girls to the seashore to run around in the water like any other child, in addition to playing tenderly with them, who (accomplices) would support him in the adventure.

(This moment will be a small, unforgettable gift for each of us, and we look forward to repeating it soon in health, well-being, and confidence.)

For my part, I would stay talking with these two beautiful women, who have all the experience in the world in every aspect of life, and I would try to nourish myself with such kindness. I would tell them about my daily routine and take advantage of the opportunity to ask for countless pieces of advice. My mother and mother-in-law are contemporaries and lived practically at the same time (the three of us get along excellently).

"We have always agreed that the secret of life lies in the family, a core that can do anything when they organize well and offer unrestricted support."

That's why, for me, this meeting over a special dinner would represent something unique for me, truly wholesome and trustworthy, thanking God that we are alive, in good health, sharing as a united family and a prosperous life.

Thank you for coming this far. It's a pleasure to share with you in the @ladiesofhive community. I'll say goodbye until next time.

I invite my new friends on Hive: @flaca.g8med3na and @annabmteart, whom I recently met, to participate, and I encourage them to join the contest.

Me gustaría dominar el idioma inglés

Solamente hablo idioma español y me gustaría aprender inglés.

I would love to be bilingual or maybe even trilingual or more. Languages that would benefit me? Spanish, Hungarian and Russian and Ukrainian. My daughter in law is Hungarian, and whereas she speaks English, her mother doesn't. I would love to spend time with her mom. As for the other three; at work, I encounter all of them-a lot! It would help to better serve my patients!

Dinner sounds like a lovely family affair!

Thanks for sharing; I am sure you will do well as you learn. Take care and have a lovely day!🤗💜🌹 !LADY

Hello my friend! You're always so attentive. Thank you for reading my post and rating it. Learning another language is related to each person's interests and needs; it can also be a matter of personal choice or a desire to improve oneself in that regard. I understand that speaking Hungarian, Russian, and Ukrainian is somewhat complicated since the language, the pronunciation, the emphasis, every detail is different from what we normally use with English or Spanish, for example. I remember an anecdote some time ago when a woman I met only spoke her native language, Italian. Despite the fact that her language, like Spanish, is derived from Latin, we thought we'd understand each other fairly well. However, when she heard me pronounce the first few words, she became extremely uncomfortable, to the point of suffering from stage fright and practically running away from embarrassment. It was kind of funny! See you soon @elizabethbit

I tend to understand more than I can say or converse back to anyone. It's interesting to me how I can sometimes do that without speaking the language. Time to do it, is where I fall short. I need 48 hours in a day, but I suspect it would get filled up as well. Take care my friend and enjoy your Friday! Hugs! 🤗💜🌹 !LADY

It's always a pleasure to meet other Medical professionals here on Hive. Hospital equipment in Canada here requires written instructions in at least six languages. In Vancouver Canada there are a variety of cultures here so being able to speak any other language as a Community nurse is a professional asset.
