The 172nd edition of the Ladies of Hive CONTEST has come to a close and winners have been selected! We would like to thank everyone who participated!
BIG THANKS goes to @sagarkothari88 for sending a bonus prize to all on the Winners List: a small amount of actual HivePower (HP) sent directly to the accounts of everyone on the Winners List! I want to start by expressing my immense appreciation to the moderators who tirelessly oversee this process every time. Stepping into the shoes of a moderator for the recent writing competition was an eye-opening experience.
While it was incredibly rewarding to see the creativity and talent of the participants, it quickly became clear that the job requires much more than just reading articles.
Sifting through dozens of entries was no small feat, and I was quickly challenged by the sheer volume and diversity of submissions.
Each piece brought its own unique voice and style, making it difficult to compare apples to oranges at times.
Ultimately, I focused on two key criteria: the content itself and the effectiveness of the markdown formatting.
Content-wise, I was drawn to pieces that evoked strong emotions, whether it was laughter, inspiration, or a sense of wonder. But, of course, also originality.
In terms of markdown, I prioritized clarity and readability, as well as the use of creative elements to enhance the reading experience.
After much deliberation, I'm thrilled to announce the following winners:
