Everyone wants to rule the world one way or the other ,it might not necessarily be the whole world but in their little world, they'd like to be kings , they'd like to be the spot light,yhe city on the hill,the one that receives all the glory and i feel its actually normal,we all should desire to be at the top it defines sovereignty.
But then the desire to rule alone doesn't qualify you as a ruler neither does it provide the avenue for you to rule,for you to express sovereignty and rule then you must have shown the world your potentials to meet up to the task, rulership doesn't come from within it is given by the the people,you become the president because the people want you to and not because you want to alone,if you want to but the people dont then it's never going to work.So power is given not acquired.And youre awarded rulership based on your potentials,still yet the people might view potentials differently, potentials may vary according to the culture of the people, their geographical location and generally their mindset.
As a west African that i am , specifically from Benue Nigeria the approach i'd use to win the hearts of the people over is peace; bringing calmness to the hearts if men.I've noticed over time that nothing gives a man satisfaction more than peace of mind, currently its so sad that bandits are terrorising the area of the country i come from,but this could be to my advantage if i were to come to light as the president, I'd find a way to deal completely with all forms of insecurity as this has been the major problem of the people in this region and of course has also caught the attention of every Nigerian, tackling this matter or bringing a solution to this will definitely being me to the light as a hero.
At this point i believe the point if attraction would be me , 'she's the one who was able to deal with bandits ', suggestions begin to come, people would be like 'she'd make a good president',and the truth is I'll actually make a good leader if i were to be one, I've sat and had ideas that could actually make the country better but of course those ideas die within me cause there's no way to express them , there's this saying;
'A poor man's wisdom is never known "
Am not saying am poor ooh but am sure you get my point after all that's just a proverb,but yet the good part is that we persevere,keep the fire burning, the world can become a better place if only we can have better rulers.
