This drama, released on Netflix in 2021, is one of my favourite dramas ever. It is a great mix of action, adventure, suspense, crime and great comedy. Yes, a great mix because the doses of comedy in suspense, crime and action will not seem odd to you at all, rather, apart from other things, you will like this comedy on a different level, and I am not talking about dark comedy here. Everyone has their own choice, and I rarely like dark comedy. Although dark comedy has also been written on some websites in the genre of this drama, I watched the entire drama, and I did not find anything like dark comedy in it anywhere; in fact, the comedy I saw in the drama was completely healthy and amazing. There will be many scenes in this drama that you will remember for a long time, and you will also laugh thinking about them.

This is the story of an Italian Korean mafia lawyer who, upon returning to his homeland, South Korea, comes into conflict with Babel, a big business group of South Korea. The best thing about Korean dramas is that they engage you so much from the first few minutes that you do not want to leave your seat. And this drama also has the same quality where the personality of this mafia (our hero) is shown in a scene in Italy before returning to Korea. From there, you come to know that he is much more dangerous than the mafias you have seen so far.

Another great thing I like about Korean dramas is that they put a lot of effort into each character in the story, and you can feel it yourself. Like Vincenzo (The Mafia Lawyer) and Babel Group Chairman Villain are among the main characters in this drama, but you will also see a lot of minor characters around them whose story, presence, and scenes will seem like the main link in this whole drama. I myself would not have enjoyed this drama so much without those characters and their dialogues.

한국 드라마의 또 다른 장점은 이야기 속 각 캐릭터에 많은 공을 들인다는 점인데, 시청자도 그 공을 직접 느낄 수 있습니다. 빈센조(마피아 변호사)와 바벨 그룹 회장 빌런이 이 드라마의 주요 등장인물이지만, 그 주변에는 이야기, 존재감, 그리고 장면들이 드라마 전체를 연결하는 주요 고리처럼 느껴지는 조연들도 많이 등장합니다. 저 역시 그 캐릭터들과 그들의 대사가 없었다면 이 드라마를 이렇게 재밌게 즐기지 못했을 겁니다.

But in this drama, you will get to see a different kind of ending. I saw a similar ending in another Korean drama, which was also amazing, but we will talk about it next time. This drama is available on Netflix. If you are interested in enjoying this cocktail of comedy with suspense, crime and mafia, then this drama should be on top of your watchlist.
