Beans! African beans does well in welcoming any kind of combo, be it rice, pasta, yam, plantain ripe or unripe, potato, pap to mention but a few. When @qurator mention Beans in this week's competition, then i seize it as an opportunity to make my favorite food.
Ingredients for making beans with a combo of rice
- 1kg of Beans
- 200ml vegetable oil (some people can choose palm oil over veg oil and tomato paste)
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of ducros curry (optional)
- 100g of crayfish
- 1 table spoon of pepper
- 20g of seasoning cubes
- 2 sachets of tomatoe paste (optional)
- 300g of rice
- 2 medium size onion
First step
Picking the beans was the first thing i did, then washed it and set it aside.
Second step
I peeled my onion washed it and slice it just the i wanted it.
Because the competition says Beans and i don't eat my beans without any combo. I added a little rice, this food is my favorite. So at this stage, I washed my rice and set it aside.
Step 3
I put my pot on fire and i allow to dry up then pour in my vegetable oil, added salt, introduced my onion stired it well allow it to bring out the aroma, then the curry and my tomato paste.
Adding the seasoning cubes
I went on to add my crayfish
My dried grinded pepper followed
Stir well, poured my beans and keep stirring for everything to marry each other, then i poured in my rice and still stirred.
Step four
I introduced water, stired again and gave twenty while i still adjusted it with water and salt to taste.
Her the food is ready, there's a taste that this combination gives that you can't resist. Any how you choose to prepare it, it tastes good.
