The interplay of light and color can make nature a quite photogenic subject. Plants, flowers, and grass—all the things we regularly see outdoors have their own beauty, and a fun part of photography is trying to capture and share it. I really enjoy when the sun gives a golden glow to these types of subjects and really makes the colors and tones something more interesting to work with when I do edits. With software like Lightroom, you can change or enhance the look of your photos quite substantially, especially if you shoot in raw. For these pictures I chose to enhance rather than change, finding the elements that made the image work and giving them a boost where I felt it was needed.
