Playing with Light
In photography, the mastery of light is essential, as it is the medium with which the image is created, allowing us to control the final appearance of the photographs and convey the message we want.
The correct manipulation of light, both in quantity and direction, allows the camera or device to capture the image, and also helps us to define the atmosphere, mood and composition.
A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to travel to Tucacas, a coastal town located near the Morrocoy National Park, which has become one of the most important and sought after tourist attractions in western Venezuela for its beautiful beaches with warm and crystal clear waters.
Although the stay was brief, I did not miss the opportunity to take an abundant ration of photos, among which stand out these that I share in this post, where it is possible to observe the use of light, in this case artificial.
As I have described in previous publications, I used the editing tools offered by Picsart and Snapseed applications to intervene the original image to my satisfaction.
Jugando con la Luz
En la fotografía, el dominio de la luz es esencial, ya que es el medio con el que se crea la imagen, permitiéndonos controlar la apariencia final de las fotografías y transmitir el mensaje que deseamos.
La correcta manipulación de la luz, tanto en cantidad como en dirección, permite que la cámara o dispositivo capte la imagen, además, nos ayuda también a definir la atmósfera, el estado de ánimo y la composición.
Hace algunas semanas atrás, tuve la oportunidad de viajar a Tucacas, una población costera ubicada en las cercanías del Parque Nacional Morrocoy, el cual se ha convertido en uno de los atractivos turísticos más importantes y cotizados del occidente venezolano por sus hermosas playas de aguas cálidas y cristalinas.
Aunque la estadía fué breve, no desaproveché la ocasión para tomar una abundante ración de fotos, entre las que destacan estas que comparto en este post, donde es posible observar el uso de la luz, en este caso artificial.
Tal como lo he descrito en publicaciones anteriores, usé las herramientas de edición que ofrecen las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed para intervenir las imágenes originales a mi entera satisfacción.
