Hello Everyone!
For my entry in this weeks round, about sweetness, I chose this photo taken during our trip to Japan. It was the last day of our journey, and our itinerary was to spend the day shopping at the outlet stores. Everyone was excited—it was the moment we had all been waiting for.
While my sisters eagerly explored each store, I decided to take a break. Shopping has never been my strongest point; I get tired easily from walking around. So, instead of joining the crowd, I found something that instantly lifted my mood—this delicious soft-serve ice cream.
The swirl of vanilla and coffee flavor was simple yet perfect. As I sat and enjoyed every spoonful, I realized that sweetness doesn’t only come from desserts. It can also come from the quiet, peaceful moments we take for ourselves. Amid the rush of shopping and the excitement of travel, this little treat reminded me to slow down and savor life’s simple joys.
