Today I make two watermelon slices by folding paper. I make two red and yellow watermelon slices. Each one is made by folding and painting one color of paper. You can also fold it with two colors paper. It is not convenient to glue and use two sheet of paper with different color together because the paper is too thick. Because I tried that method first and failed.
In the first step, cut the paper by the same length and width and fold the two facing sides with 1cm. Fold these two sides again and make two folding lines in the middle. Fold the other two facing sides with 1cm and fold this in half.
Continue to fold each side to get another four folding lines step by step as shown in the picture. Each of these lines must be folded to the middle line. In this step, gather these folding lines to the middle. Fold the four edges as shown and fold the two bottom edges up to form a shell. Paint this area with green color and add the seeds.
I also make another red watermelon slice.
