Que tal amigos de @demonicore! Hacia bastante tiempo que no escribía algunas líneas sobre este gran proyecto que evoca en mi aquellos años en que jugaba los crpg de antaño. en realidad nunca dejé de jugarlo constantemente estaba ajusticiando demonios en el nombre de la luz, pero me había embarcado en un proyecto de largo plazo que demandó tiempo y muchos recursos y aunque valió la pena me alejo bastante de invertir en mejorar mi héroe de Demonicore. De hecho mi último post fue hace 9 meses!
Hey, friends of @demonicore! It's been a while since I wrote a few lines about this great project that evokes those years when I played CRPs of yesteryear. I never really stopped playing it, constantly slaying demons in the name of light, but I had embarked on a long-term project that demanded time and a lot of resources, and while it was worth it, I'm moving away from investing in improving my Demonicore hero. In fact, my last post was 9 months ago!
Para entonces había llevado a mi héroe hasta el 5to círculo infernal con unas estadísticas de 8 en ataque/defensa y 6 de velocidad/defensa. Aun cuando había logrado desbloquear el 5to círculo, mi rutina diaria era mantenerme en el 4to círculo y ocasionalmente hacer un par incursión en el 5to círculo que con frecuencia perdía ya que las estadísticas de los demonios a ese nivel era bastante alto por lo que costaba más ataques eliminarlos y nuestra resistencia a sus ataque era menor, entonces al enfrentar uno de estos demonios siempre comenzábamos con desventaja.
By then, I had taken my hero to the 5th Circle of Hell with stats of 8 in Attack/Defense and 6 in Speed/Defense. Even though I had managed to unlock the 5th circle, my daily routine was to stay in the 4th circle and occasionally make a couple of raids in the 5th circle, which I frequently lost since the stats of the demons at that level were quite high, making it harder to eliminate them and our resistance to their attacks was lower, so when facing one of these demons we always started at a disadvantage.

Y pues esa había sido mi rutina, llegar eliminar los demonios de turno, recuperar la cordura después de matar más de 7 demonios, luchar en el mundo exterior para recuperar la cordura y seguir ajusticiando las hordas de demonios. Siempre constante a lo largo de estos meses pero no encontraba algo que me motivara a mejorar mi personaje y conquistar círculos infernales superiores hasta que mi estimada @alicia2022 llegó para iluminar las tinieblas con su presencia angelical, ella es una inspiración para mi y fue la motivación para mejorar mi personaje y así acompañarla a derrotar las horas de demonios.
And so, that had been my routine: eliminate the demons in question, regain my sanity after killing more than 7 demons, fight in the outside world to regain my sanity, and continue slaying the hordes of demons. Always constant throughout these months, I couldn't find anything that motivated me to improve my character and conquer higher circles of hell until my esteemed @alicia2022 arrived to illuminate the darkness with her angelic presence. She is an inspiration to me and was the motivation to improve my character and thus accompany her to defeat the demons.
Actualizaciones en DemoniCore/DemoniCore Updates
La primera actualización en el juego y que me pareció una idea excelente fue la implementación de los exorcismos, es decir un nuevo modo de juego en el que cada 24 horas tendremos que realizar un rito para exorcizar a un demonio que está en posesión de un alma inocente. Este nuevo modo es una tarea bastante simple ya que son unos pocos clics que debes hacer al día para cumplirlas.
The first update to the game, and one that I thought was an excellent idea, was the implementation of exorcisms. This new game mode requires you to perform a ritual every 24 hours to exorcise a demon possessing an innocent soul. This new mode is a fairly simple task, requiring just a few clicks per day to complete.
Particularmente me gustan los exorcismos que se toman varios días, como el que te mostré arriba, para poder realizarlos es necesario una gran cantidad del token Dcore bloqueados para poder realizarlos, pero las recompensas son bastante buenas para ser un proceso de unos pocos crics. Ya he realizado muchos de ellos, lo que no sé es si al culminar exitosamente uno de estos ritos tienes la posibilidad de conseguir algún avatar. Si llego a conseguir uno se los compartiré.
I particularly like the exorcisms that take several days, like the one I showed you above. Performing them requires a large amount of locked Dcore tokens, but the rewards are quite good for a process that only takes a few crits. I've already performed many of them; what I don't know is if successfully completing one of these rituals gives you the chance to get an avatar. If I manage to get one, I'll share it with you.

La otra genial actualización fue incluir un mapa con distintas regiones donde llevar acabo nuestra sagrada labor de limpiar el mal allá donde se encuentre! Son 8 regiones + los cuarteles generales de DemoniCore, cada región presenta demonios específicos del área. Movernos entre ellos nos costará 75 Dcore.
The other cool update was the addition of a map with distinct regions where we can carry out our sacred work of cleansing evil wherever it may be! There are eight regions plus the DemoniCore headquarters, each featuring specific demons from that area. Moving between them will cost 75 Dcore.
Yo escogí el área que me pareció más inhóspito y hostil: The Deep! El otro añadido que también me parece acertado es la aplicación de un top por regiones semanal que cierra cada domingo a las 5 pm UTC. El concepto me parece genial, al que le añadiría una especie de sistema de búsquedas, es decir, encontrar las distintas partes de un abalorio específico y al fusionarlos tener un nft con propiedades únicas para que valga la pena viajar por cada región.
I chose the area that seemed most inhospitable and hostile: The Deep! The other addition that I also think is a good idea is the implementation of a weekly regional top that closes every Sunday at 5 p.m. UTC. I think the concept is brilliant, and I would add a sort of quest system, meaning you can find the different parts of a specific trinket and, by fusing them, obtain an NFT with unique properties, making it worthwhile to travel through each region.

Upgradeando mi héroe/Upgrading my hero

Ya tenia varios meses reuniendo mis Dcore, y los gasté llevando a más de 6K los Dcore bloqueados y mejorando mi ataque hasta el nivel 14, pero conociendo la resistencia de estos engendros decidí invertir una buena cantidad en mejorar mi daño hasta 19 y llevar mis defensas y velocidad a 9.
I'd been gathering my Dcores for several months, and I spent them getting my blocked Dcores to over 6K and upgrading my attack to level 14. But knowing how resilient these creatures are, I decided to invest a good amount into upgrading my damage to 19 and getting my defense and speed to 9.

Al final nuestras estadísticas quedaron en la imagen que ves abajo, lleve el ataque hasta 19 para que los puntos de energía se recargaran más rápido, las defensas y velocidad es para soportar los ataques cuerpo a cuerpo y que nuestros golpes tengan un alto porcentaje de acierto. Queda como tarea pendiente subir de nivel la fe ya que me he dado cuenta que los demonios atacan principalmente con magia.
In the end, our stats ended up as shown in the image below. I'd upped my attack to 19 so my energy would recharge faster, and my defense and speed to withstand melee attacks and ensure our hits have a high hit rate. My remaining task is to level up my faith, as I've noticed that demons primarily attack with magic.

Decidimos tomar por asalto el círculo 7 del inferno y para mi sorpresa esta build en base a daño puro es realmente competente!
We decided to storm Circle 7 of Hell, and to my surprise, this build, based on pure damage, is truly competent!
Lo interesante es que ya en este nivel de dificultad aparecen demonios nuevos que jamás había visto, como el Wendigo, el Revenant y curiosamente esa especie de Godzilla aunque creo que su presencia es porque este demonio invocado es endémico del Deep.
The interesting thing is that at this level of difficulty, new demons appear that I had never seen before, such as the Wendigo, the Revenant, and curiously, that kind of Godzilla, although I think its presence is because this summoned demon is endemic to the Deep.

Succubus & Bood Queens

Los Succubus y Brood Queen son demonios que disfruto ajusticiar en DemoniCore, particularmente me encanta su diseño que por supuesto evoca las las vilezas del pecado capital de la lujuria. Me recuerda a los súcubos del juego diablo 1 una verdadera joya de Blizzard donde estos demonios eran realmente difíciles de eliminar. Para nuestra suerte logramos conseguir un avatar nuevo, no tengo muchos y espero arrancarles del cuerpo a estos demonios lujuriosos la mayor cantidad de avatares posibles.
The Succubus and Brood Queen are demons I enjoy slaying in DemoniCore. I particularly love their design, which of course evokes the vile creatures of the deadly sin of lust. It reminds me of the succubi from Diablo 1, a true Blizzard gem where these demons were truly difficult to eliminate. Luckily, we managed to get a new avatar; I don't have many, and I hope to snatch as many avatars from the bodies of these lustful demons as possible.

Otros demonios que han sido interesantes y raros son estos Mimic Demons, es la primera vez que los veo y ver que algunos de ellos tienen formas de personas normales es bastante ominoso. Me pregunto si estos son los demonios que se han apoderado totalmente de aquellas almas que no lograron ser exorcizadas exitosamente y ahora andan libres caminando entre los mortales cazando a su próxima víctima...
Other demons that have been interesting and rare are these Mimic Demons. It's the first time I've seen them, and seeing some of them take the form of normal people is quite ominous. I wonder if these are the demons that have completely taken over those souls that couldn't be successfully exorcised and now roam free among mortals, hunting for their next victim...

Y bien amigos, con esto termino esta breve actualización en DemoniCore, ya nos afianzamos en el 7mo círculo infernal y al mismo tiempo nos abrimos paso en el top 10 semanal de demonios ajusticiados. Pero mi esfuerzo ha sido insuficiente la bella cazadora de demonios Alicia, se encuentra repartiendo muerte en el circulo 8vo y me gustaría reforzar mis defensas contra la magia antes de bajar al círculo donde habitan los fraudulentos. Well, friends, with this I conclude this brief update on DemoniCore. We've now established ourselves in the 7th Circle of Hell and, at the same time, made our way into the weekly top 10 of slain demons. But my efforts have been insufficient.
