HELLO HIVE
Farming requires understanding the needs of plants at different stages and these critical needs have to be met at the right time to ensure that everything is going in the best direction it should be, early stage in so many plants is the stage of increased demands with the plants normally looking fragile at this point than at any other point in time
- A week after I had planted my groundnut on this already-prepared farmland I already had a task on my hands the farm was close to abandoned farmland and I was already getting signs of pest activities I had to find a way to control this before it finally got out of hand but for all other things like weeding, watering practices and nutrients won't be needed for now.
- The land is clean with little to no sign of weeds and that boils down to the herbicide that was used immediately after the planting had been done that way the small weeds that were left behind after clearing and cultivation won't be able to survive and compete with what I have planted.
That's the importance of doing some pre-planting activities that will bolster these conditions, there is no need for watering because of the period we are in with consistent rainfall every week that will be enough to keep the farm going.
