‎Human memories are like web patterns, each connecting to another, like a water channel. Every bit of memory is stored in our brain, stuck there till we find a reason to remember. A human is a sum of their experiences, what we have experienced becomes what we are. A human can never be smarter than their own mind, our acquired experience becomes the knowledge we believe, we possess. This knowledge is not without root, it is kept together in the bank of our memories, if we can't remember; then we don't know.

‎Every thing humans believe to be our knowledge, we were told. As we grew older, our acquired memory becomes the foundation of our present and the future that is yet to come. A memory is not just some old hard drive, it is what keeps us sane, it allows us to make sense of our reality. How would we be able to tell tales of our existence, of our being, without a memory of it? It is quite strange, how something invincible, makes us whole?

‎As beautiful as it is for humans to be able to remember through the memories kept, not all memories are pleasant. What we have seen - we learn and it becomes a part of us, weather we like it or not. Which means what has been seen can't be unseen; but we can pretend. This negative memories, no matter how bad it seems, it is what help us in making better judgement of what will be in the future. You can't claim to fully know, what you are yet to experience. Only those who have felt pain can tell the tales of it.

‎Human perspective of negative memories differs, which means most people will be willing to give up these memories or sell it off if possible. If I was opportune to sell my memories, which of it would I sell? the answer is none. I know how tough survival can be and I'm also aware of what we humans are capable of doing for the sake of money, in the name of survival. We would bend the kneel at will, if it means adding few pennies to our account.

‎I would know, I have witnessed fellow humans do what compromises their values, just to get by. If there is something we humans have abundance of, is memories. It is consistent and ever present. So why not sell off some of it, since there is an abundance of it but I won't. Every memory stored within me matters, it is my identity, it is connected to the core of my being. It is a web, cutting off a portion of it disturbs the pattern. What if selling off just a bit of it, result to me forgetting who I'm or who I was? it is a risk I'm not willing to take, even if it is for money. Some things are not meant to be for sale.

There are memories that it's worth the risk selling them off if you ask me.

Yeah they are worth it but memories are not that simple. Even a bad memory is a source of knowledge.

Alright 👌
