Hace algunos meses me mude a mi casa propia, y me encuentro realizando mejoras cada vez más para acondicionarla y tener más comodidades, es por esto que les comparto un poco del trabajo que estoy haciendo en mi baño. Esta vez con la construcción de una base o mesón para empotrar el lavamos y también el empotrado de las tuberías de la luz eléctrica y quiero mostrarles como me esta quedando todo esto.
A few months ago I moved to my own house, and I find myself making improvements more and more to condition it and have more comfort, that's why I share with you some of the work I'm doing in my bathroom. This time with the construction of a base or countertop to embed the washbasin and also the embedding of the pipes of the electric light and I want to show you how I am doing all this.
En este trabajo deje lista la tubería eléctrica con su cableado e interruptor funcionando, algo que me tenía pendiente porque quería asegurarme de que todo quedara bien desde el principio. También avancé con la base del mesón donde irá el lavamanos. Para que quedara firme, hice una parrilla con cabillas y luego vacié el concreto, todo con herramientas comunes y sin tanta maquinaria.
In this work I left the electrical piping ready with its wiring and switch working, something I had pending because I wanted to make sure that everything was right from the beginning. I also made progress with the base of the countertop where the sink will go. In order to make it firm, I made a grill with steel bars and then I poured the concrete, all with common tools and without so much machinery.
El proceso no fue fácil, especialmente con un calor de casi 39°C que hacía que cualquier cosa tomará el doble de esfuerzo. Pero con paciencia y algo de ingenio, la cosa fue saliendo. Ahora toca dejar secar bien el concreto antes de retirar el molde que coloqué a la medida del lavamanos y seguir con el revocado de las paredes, que es lo próximo en la lista después de instalar el lavamanos que también ya cuenta con la instalación de aguas blancas y aguas negras.
The process was not easy, especially with a heat of almost 39°C that made anything take twice as much effort. But with patience and some ingenuity, the thing was coming out. Now it's time to let the concrete dry well before removing the mold that I placed to the size of the sink and continue with the plastering of the walls, which is next on the list after installing the sink, which also has the installation of white water and sewage.
