Who is a father?
A father is a male parent in the family, a father is a lot of things but he is essentially known as the most loving parent ( don't argue), when a father loves, he goes the extra mile in providing for the ones he loves because they say love is what "giving" and by giving what do you do? You provide. A father is our first superhero, our first prince charming, the most handsome guy in our lives.
Today we get to celebrate these amazing species, I'm in the process of fighting for their justice because I don't understand why we get to mark this outstanding celebration just once, I feel like these species need to be celebrated just like the women, imagine the number of times we celebrate the women ( well I know I'm a woman) I just want their justice, these special people deserve more celebration.
The scripture says "Men are the head of the family" which means men are embodied with the responsibilities of taking care of the family. They work 100% just to ensure their wives and children are living happily, they put a roof over our heads so we can be sheltered, they perform these fatherly duties as if their lives depend on it, and they have so much pressure on their shoulders yet society doesn't allow them to express themselves when a man is tired and needed to rest society will tag them as being lazy, they still go further in saying "men don't cry" what!!!.

Fathers play a significant role in shaping our lives, someone who serves as the backbone of the family, fathers are unique, and fathers are outstanding, a father's role in the family can't be replaced. Despite having to work the whole day they still come back home, creating time for the family, they give genuine attention to the ones they love, their care is second to none, and they give to the family even if it isn't convenient.
When children start portraying certain characters or traits of their fathers people will say "Apples don't fall too far from the tree" I see this statement as a nice compliment because growing up we see our parents as our role models, whatever they do we'd always like to do the same, so when we start showing those things people start seeing our parent in us.
Unfortunately, I didn't grow up having a father figure in my life, my mom tries to cover that vacuum but no doubt that space will always be there, and that spot will always be empty, which can't be filled. I was fortunate enough to have some people who play that role in my life, so I'm gonna celebrate those amazing people.
I want to celebrate every father out there, thank you for all the amazing things you do, and thanks for the sacrifice you've made for us, thanks for the continuous support, thanks for always standing by us, and thanks for loving us unconditionally, I can go on and on in describing your incredible nature. In all, I wanna say "Happy Father's Day".
