Hello, hello my beautiful people. Today I come to tell you how was my Mother's Day with my coworkers and the community. This day has become a tradition in many countries, it is celebrated with different customs. Here in Venezuela it is celebrated on the second Sunday of May. Venezuelan families celebrate it the whole month of May, that's how we are 😅.
This is a very special and emotional date for the whole family, where we share and give away many gifts, we form our parrandón and so we have a good time, it is also a commercial day where we sell everything ☺️.
At the school we celebrated a few days later due to lack of monetary capital, we put on our skates as they say. The representatives and all the staff collaborated with: soft drinks, creams, toasts, herring capitas with cassava, empanadas, pastries, pepitos, pizza, rice with chicken, plates, napkins and glasses.
To motivate the representatives we organized the famous Pass the Potato game, but we didn't have a potato so we did it with a beet 😅. This game consists of: The participants sit next to each other forming a wheel, the hostess of the game stands with her back to the wheel and shouts the hot potato, the hot potato several times until it stops and the person left with the beet loses and leaves the game and so on until there is only one person left and she is the winner.
The prize was a very nice flannel, the winning mother was very happy. Another activity that the teachers organized was with the children, they had several papers in hand. Each piece of paper had a word written on it forming the phrase "Happy Mother's Day, I love you".
The director said some very touching words at the end, thanking everyone for their participation and collaboration in this beautiful day.

Versión en EspañolHola, hola mi gente bella. Hoy vengo a contarles cómo fue mi Día de las Madres con mis compañeros de trabajo y la comunidad. Este día se ha convertido en una tradición en muchos países, se celebra con diferentes costumbres. Aquí en Venezuela se celebra el segundo domingo del mes de mayo. Las familias venezolanas lo celebramos todo el mes de mayo, así somos 😅.
Esta es una fecha muy especial y emotiva para toda la familia, donde hacemos compartir y obsequiamos muchos regalos, formamos nuestro parrandón y así pasamos un buen rato.Es un dia también comercial donde vende de todo ☺️.
En el colegio lo celebramos unos días después por falta de capital monetario, nos pusimos los patines como dicen. Los representantes y todo el personal colaboramos con: refrescos, cremas, tostadas, capitas de arenque con casabe, empanadas, pastelitos, pepitos, pizza, arroz con pollo, platos, servilletas y vasos.
Para motivar a las representantes organizamos el famoso juego de Pasa la papa, pero no teníamos papa y lo hicimos con una remolacha 😅. Este juego consiste: Los participantes se sientan uno al lado de otro formando una rueda, la anfitriona del juego se coloca de espalda a la rueda y va gritando la papa caliente, la papa caliente varias veces hasta que pare y la persona que quede con la remolacha pierde y sale del juego y así hasta quedar una sola persona y es la ganadora.
El premio fue una franela muy bonita, la madre ganadora estaba muy contenta. Otra actividad que las maestras organizaron fue con los niños, estos tenían varios papeles en mano. Cada papel tenía una palabra escrita formando la frase "Feliz día mamá, te amo".
La directora dijo unas palabras muy emotivas al final, dando gracias a todos por su participación y colaboración en este día hermoso.
