Ayer fue el último día de un mes bastante genial, un mes que me pareció súper largo de tantas cosas que pudimos hacer en familia y estoy bastante agradecida por eso, porque fue un mes de mucho union familar de salidas juntos a lugares que amamos, de comer cosas ricas dentro y fuera de casa, de ver pelis y hasta de dormir juntos los 4 en nuestra cama (King, no se asusten), toda una noche, que no lo recomiendo mucho, pero fue lindo despertar con cada patada de Miri y vernos a los cuatro juntos como cuando los niños eran pequeños. Fue una noche de mucho agradecimiento.
Yesterday was the last day of a pretty great month, a month that seemed super long with so many things we could do as a family and I am very grateful for that, because it was a month of a lot of family togetherness, going out together to places we love, eating delicious things inside and outside the house, watching movies and even sleeping together the 4 of us in our bed (King, don't be scared), a whole night, which I do not recommend much, but it was nice to wake up with every kick of Miri and see the four of us together as when the kids were little. It was a night of much appreciation.
Pero bueno, volviendo al tema y a nuestro recap de Agosto, tuvimos la oportunidad de ir varias veces a la playa y no solo a las que acostumbramos, sino que están vez fuimos un poco más lejos, específicamente a Pampatar, también visitamos los tres centros comerciales en varias oportunidades, y por supuesto disfrutamos de horas de diversión con los juegos de mesa, cosa que en casa nunca puede faltar, y en vacaciones menos.
Agosto siempre es un mes especial porque es el cumpleaños de mi esposo, y este año la pasamos realmente bien porque nos fuimos a comer pizza, además de dar un paseo por el C.C. Sambil a comer helados y para cerrar la noche pasamos por casa de sus padres a cantar cumpleaños y comer empanaditas juntos.
But well, back to the topic and our August recap, we had the opportunity to go several times to the beach and not only to the ones we are used to, but this time we went a little further, specifically to Pampatar, we also visited the three malls on several occasions, and of course we enjoyed hours of fun with board games, something that at home can never be missing, and on vacation even less.
August is always a special month because it is my husband's birthday, and this year we had a really good time because we went to eat pizza, we also went for a walk through the Sambil shopping mall to eat ice cream and to close the night we went to his parents' house to sing birthdays and eat empanaditas together.
Otra cosa que hicimos y que los que me conocen saben que me encanta, fue comer jajaja, comer muchas cosas ricas, algunas fuera de casa como pizzas en Baguette Bistró Pizzería, las deli hamburguesas de Mike Pollo y los perros súper brutales de La Catira Burguer, y otras más en casita que por cierto disfrutamos un montón, y de algunas les compartí las recetas.
Por otro lado, sucedió algo que me hizo súper feliz, y fue que finalmente Hive Margarita se abrió paso en Hive como una nueva comunidad y aunque representa más cosas que atender, no se imaginan lo feliz que esto me ha hecho y pasar cada día por la comunidad, ver como todos los hivers ponen su granito de arena para que se vea más linda cada vez es algo que me alegra muchísimo.
Another thing that we did and that those who know me know that I love, was to eat hahaha, eat many delicious things, some outside the house like pizzas at Baguette Bistró Pizzeria, the deli burgers from Mike Pollo and the super brutal dogs from La Catira Burguer, and others at home that by the way we enjoyed a lot, and some of them I shared the recipes with you.
On the other hand, something happened that made me super happy, and it was that finally Hive Margarita made its way into Hive as a new community and although it represents more things to attend to, you can't imagine how happy this has made me and spending every day in the community, seeing how all the hivers do their bit to make it look nicer every time is something that makes me very happy.
Como ven, ha sido un mes cargado de cosas positivas, a pesar del estrés del día a día y de unos temitas de salud, hay mucho, muchísimo que agradecer, sobre todo la bendición de tener en mi vida y a mi lado a mi esposo y mis niños que son sin duda lo mejor de mis días.
Que septiembre sea mucho mejor!
As you can see, it has been a month full of positive things, despite the stress of everyday life and some health issues, there is much, much to be thankful for, especially the blessing of having my husband and my children in my life and by my side, who are undoubtedly the best part of my days.
