Hello friends of this beautiful community, this is my first time here and I hope to visit more often.
I want to tell you about my reunion with my children. in January 2024, my daughter made an appointment for my husband @manros11 and me to get our passports. We were given an appointment for January 26, and by February 15, we had our passports. On May 5, 2024, she got our criminal records, and by the beginning of June, she was submitting all the requirements to apply for family reunification. She checked every month to see if it had come through, and on March 25, 2025, we received a letter in the mail saying that our family reunification visa had been accepted. We began all the preparations, and my children started looking for the cheapest tickets, which they bought from LATAM with a stopover in Bogotá. The ticket was for June 15, and they bought tickets for Maiquetía on the 14th, one day earlier, since we live on Margarita Island and didn't want to risk the flights being delayed, which is what actually happened. The flight to Caracas was delayed by three hours. The long-awaited day arrived, and we went to Simón Bolívar International Airport at noon. Our flight to Bogotá left on time. Everything went well in Bogotá, although I was searched because the scanner beeped when I went through, but I was so happy and relaxed that I didn't worry about it. I have no idea why it beeped when I went through. I didn't take many photos of our trip, and neither did my husband, but I did walk around the airport and we had dinner at a very nice restaurant. I dedicated myself to enjoying it and treasuring memories in my mind, and I was increasingly happy about reuniting with my children and my grandson. The plane landed at the international airport in Chile at 5:30 in the morning on Monday, and my daughter, my grandson, my son, and his girlfriend (novia, as they say here) were there waiting for us.
My grandson is four years old, and I only saw him for a month before he turned one when my daughter came to visit us in Venezuela. After that, I showed him my love through WhatsApp, and he waited anxiously for us. Every day, he looked at the calendar and counted how many days were left until we would see each other.
That moment was magical and long-awaited. Now my husband and I are thoroughly enjoying our stay in Chile.

Although I had mixed feelings because when I came here I left part of my heart in Venezuela, my mother, my three grandchildren, and my daughter, but in life you can't have everything.
For now, I enjoy every moment that life gives me, every hug and kiss from my son, when he tells me he loves me and hugs me tightly because he hadn't hugged me in five years.
I enjoy the hospitality and love of my daughter and her husband and everything they do to make us feel good, the mischief and antics of my grandson, and now I get to see my other grandchildren and my mother on WhatsApp, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying every day of my life to the fullest.

That's all for today's post. Thank you for visiting and for your support.

Life's problems become such that we have to leave all our relatives and go to another place, just like you have, and it is a fact that we miss all those people very much as time passes.

That's right, but that's part of life. Thank you for visiting, best regards.
