Today I had the opportunity to spend a different, entertaining afternoon with two of my friends, Karla and Xiomara; after attending our church service, we wanted to take advantage of the bright sun that was shining in the afternoon and go for a delicious ice cream. Xiomara, who knows the area we were in better, took us to a lovely ice cream shop called Happy Ice Cream, where in addition to ice cream, they also offered coffee and other types of desserts like cakes, chocolate chip cookies, and other sweet delights.
But at three o'clock, we were drawn to some strawberry yogurt cones. Upon arrival, they showed us the menus, and we had no doubts about our choice. What caught our attention the most were the cones with a blue hue, apart from the space, which, although small inside, had an outdoor terrace where we went to enjoy our cones while catching up on our things. The three of us took the opportunity to discuss our week, and that felt liberating.
Because as the wafers were running out, we started to relax more, in addition to the laughter that was present throughout our conversation. We all took the opportunity to immortalize our afternoon by taking photos of our moment and, as you already know, I love sharing my special moments with you, they helped me pose and find the best angles for the photos. After we finished our cones, we still stayed for a while longer in a pleasant conversation where we focused on sharing jokes and laughter, and from there we left feeling fresh and cheerful.
And it is from moments like these that friendships are nourished, from sharing a coffee, an ice cream, a meal, or simply stopping to talk with a good friend at any moment; in this case, I had two friends willing to spend a little moment of happiness and sweetness with those delicious cones. Hoy tuve la oportunidad de pasar una tarde diferente, entretenida con dos de mis amigas, Karla y Xiomara; luego de asistir al servicio de nuestra iglesia, quisimos aprovechar el brillante sol que destellaba en la tarde e ir por un rico helado. Xiomara quien conoce mejor la zona en la que andábamos, nos llevó hasta una bella heladería, llamada Happy Ice Cream, donde aparte de helados brindaban también cafés y otros tipos de postres como tortas, galletas con chispas de chocolate y demás delicias dulces.
Pero a las tres, nos llamó la atención unas barquillas de yogur con fresa. Al llegar nos indicaron los menús, y no tuvimos dudas con nuestra elección y lo que más llamo nuestra atención, fueron los conos con tonalidad azul, aparte del espacio que aunque pequeño en su interior, contaba con una terraza al aire libre donde fuimos a degustar nuestras barquillas, mientras nos poníamos al día con nuestras cosas, las tres aprovechamos para comentar nuestra semana y eso se sintió liberador.
Porque a medida que las barquillas se iban acabando, nosotras nos fuimos relajando más, aparte de las risas que no faltaron en toda nuestra conversación. Todas aprovechamos de inmortalizar nuestra tarde tomándonos fotos de nuestro momento y, como ya saben que a mí me encanta compartir mis momentos especiales con ustedes, ellas me ayudaron a posar y a ver los mejores ángulos para las fotos. Luego de que terminamos nuestras barquillas, aun así nos quedamos unos momentos más en una amena conversación donde nos centramos en compartir chistes y risas, de allí salimos frescas y risueñas.
Y es que de estos momentos como este, es que se nutren las amistades, de compartir un café, un helado, una comida o simplemente de detenerse a hablar con un buen amigo en cualquier momento; en este caso yo tuve dos amigas dispuestas a pasar un pequeño momento de felicidad y de dulzura con esas ricas barquillas. ¡Espero que disfruten de mi tarde con mis lindas amigas Karla y Xiomara, saludos!
