All these objects are priceless, because of the memories they bring. The salt and pepper shakers looked like new, I can imagine how much your mom treasured them.

I can remember Thanksgiving dinner at home with my parents. Mom would cook all day, we'd have a feast and we kids were always responsible for cleaning up and doing the dishes. The only thing my mom would do after dinner was put the turkey salt and pepper shakers away, immediately.
Mom took special care of those things. I'm surprised she didn't go around the table asking us if we needed any salt or pepper on anything and applying it herself. 😁
