Weeks Fly - Must Have Wings
Hanging onto fringes of sanity, birds to the rescue, it must be Feathered Friday and yes a Tit popped into frame, a first for me not that twit never gave itself away. Apparently noisy, well he/she never vocalized their arrival, delighted with a first time sighting!
Southern Black Tit Melaniparus niger is not under any threat in numbers. Nice to eventually make acquaintance with one.
Research is fun you learn to identify the song of the bird which I have heard previously, what a tit!
Needless to say they not easy to photograph, another bird the moves at haste with speed consuming insects of which the wasp sounds high on the menu (note to mankind don't eat the insects)...
Monogamous breeding pair with up to four helpers may be close at hand, now it's up to me to keep alert I may be fortunate to see some more.
Now I feel contentment knowing some of the relations they have in the Northern Hemisphere forest habitats with Chickadees, Titmice, variety of Tit bird photography shared, bearded, willow, great, long-tail, blue, coal, crested, white browed, marsh, tufted to name a few which do you have arrive around the home or close to home?
Daytime Walks Taking Breaks From Work
Who else is in the garden right now, pretending I don't exist is the Dark-capped Bulbul with his cute yellow feathered bum, my chatty fellow here in the wooded habitat of our garden.
Southern Masked Weaver glaring at me with red eye behind the black bill, very busy building this time of year, the harem is waiting and Summer is coming...
Small flock of Bronze Mannikins chirping at me to bring more seed, what you waiting for slow coach we gotta eat before nightfall, it's mid-morning!
Well that is the week the was, snow last weekend feel widely throughout our mountain ranges, more predicted this weekend with lighter falls. Two days of cool fresh breeze then plummet back to warm days, betwixt and between seasons yo-yo. Have a wonderful weekend to All.
