The Indian oriental magpie, also known as the Oriental magpie-robin (Copsychus saularis), is a small passerine bird found throughout the Indian subcontinent and parts of Southeast Asia. These birds are recognized for their striking black and white plumage, long tails, and melodious songs.
They are native to our garden, but we haven't seen any nests. However, this robin frequently visits our garden
and flies around the house. bringing us joy. It particularly enjoys playing in water, and we love observing its amusing antics.
Our kitchen window, my computer table, my sewing machine, viewing the backyard, and the entrance door are great spots to take photos without disturbing them. The picture I took from my sewing place, that one window open in our backyard, captures a view under the curry leaves plants, the water pot is always filled for them.
