Hello Feathered Friends Lovers,
It has a long time for me that I put up a feathered friends post. But this one I really like lot.
I was in the middle of nowhere on a little farm in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada Spain and there were some nice birdies. I continuously here one bird and I couldn't say what it was. I kept my eye's and ears open all weekend but couldn't find it.
Until the last day in the afternoon the dog was running t o the gate very nervous. It was strange behavior and I brought here inside, took my camera out and I crept towards the garden. There I spotted this beauty. A Partridge. Maybe red legged partridge, I don't now. And I don't know if this is a male ore female.
I think it was looking for bugs in the manure around the olive trees.
And went it saw me, it went towards the fence very quickly.
Later I spotted it outside the fence wen it was sitting on a rock overlooking the farm. But this also could be a different one. I am not sure of that.
And I spotted this little friend to. Google say's it's the African stonechat or common stonechat (Saxicola torquatus) This is higly soomed in so it was not very clear. All it was a nice catch!
