| В Свято-Преображенском монастыре в Муроме я побывала во время круиза по Оке. Небольшой зоопарк, в котором были в основном птицы, я рассматривала с большим интересом. Я уже показывала птиц оттуда. Большей частью, это домашние птицы: куры разных пород, индюки. | I visited the Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Murom during a cruise along the Oka. I looked at the small zoo, which was mostly filled with birds, with great interest. I have already shown the birds from there. Mostly, these were domestic birds: chickens of different breeds, turkeys. |
| Но самый большой вольер был отведен индийским павлинам. | But the largest enclosure was reserved for Indian peacocks. |

| Конечно, больше всего привлекал внимание павлин с огромным хвостом. Он сидел на возвышении, а хвост свешивался до самой земли. Павлины дремали, отдыхали, никто не раскрывал свои великолепные хвосты. Но даже в сложенном виде вот этот большой хвост смотрелся очень красиво. А ещё мне очень понравился глубокий синий цвет, в который окрашены перья на груди самцов. | Of course, the peacock with a huge tail attracted the most attention. He was sitting on a dais, and his tail hung down to the ground. The peacocks were dozing, resting, no one was spreading their magnificent tails. But even folded, this big tail looked very beautiful. And I also really liked the deep blue color of the feathers on the chest of the males. |

Идея создать на территории монастыря нечто вроде зоопарка принадлежала первому архимандриту монастыря Кириллу, ныне покинувшему этот мир. | I read a little about the history.
