Show Me A Photo Contest Round - My Wings (7pics)

This week's theme (ROUND 226)
SHOW ME A PICTURE OF BIRD. WINGS

Hey, @nelinoeva. How are you?
You've come up with a cool and interesting theme - wings. How do birds differ from other animals? Namely, the presence of wings. Of course, butterflies and beetles also have wings, but these are different wings, they are not feathered.

My mind went back to those May days when I traveled with my children through the Konigsberg land, which is now Kaliningrad. By the way, in my hometown of Kirov, about 30 streets were renamed this year, which were named after revolutionaries, terrorists, or theorists of the communist movement. Many people are against this renaming, especially the elderly. But I digress again.
I wrote earlier that during this trip, I took a lot of photos of birds, most of them waterfowl.

I may be wrong, but it seems to me that it is a Seagull. It is larger than the Black-Headed Lake Gull.
Walking along the embankment in Zelenogradsk, I saw two women throwing bread, and black-headed seagulls grabbing this bread on the fly. They were ordinary black-headed gulls. A pair of large seagulls flew nearby, looked at the women, but did not fly into the group of birds and did not grab bread. This is a typical behavior of predators - large individuals always keep apart from smaller relatives.

Black-headed Seagull. These seagulls also live in my region. I recently told you that while walking with a dog, such a seagull attacked us, it made 3 attacks. These seagulls can also be found in urban garbage dumps. I don't really like these garbage gulls.

I understand everything about gulls, but what should I do with this feathered predator? I can't tell for sure if it's a Black Kite or a Buzzard. I even decided to search for details on the Internet, but this confused me even more. All right, I'll call this handsome Kite. Although if you look at the contour of the tail, I would call it a Buzzard.

This dancing long-beaked guy hails from the Moscow region. Stork. This is the largest bird in our region; only a heron can match its size. It is difficult for a stork to take off from the surface immediately, so it runs and dances before taking off. I met him at the end of April when I was visiting my daughter. On Tuesday, I will travel by car to those parts again. But I won't be able to see this stork.

Wonderful photos of winged feathered friends.🙂
The raptor seems to me to be a black kite. And the stork was captured so well

🙏🙏🙏 thanks 🙏🙏🙏

Классные фотки!👍 Аист прямо супер получился. А хищник - это коршун. Слегка изогнутые высветленные крылья.
