Show Me A Photo Contest Round 212 - Hawk 2 (4pic)

This week's theme (ROUND 212)
SHOW ME A PICTURE OF BIRD FREE THEME

Hi, @nelinoeva. How are you?
I'm closing the winter bird restaurant. It has become warm in our region, the snow is melting. But I still keep putting bird food in the feeder. Now I see only bullfinches and European greenfinch at the feeder.
The tits stopped coming. Maybe they're starting their nesting season? By the way, a woodpecker arrived today, which I have not seen for more than a month.

But 2 days ago, I was surprised by a forest-feathered bandit. The hawk flew to the feeder, did not see any small birds, and just sat on a branch.

This guy feels like a king. He sat on a tree with a proud look and looked around assessing the situation.
An interesting detail is that a little blue tit flew to another branch and began to clean its feathers. The Hawk didn't even look at her. It reminded me of the situation from the underwater world, when predatory fish swim next to small fish and do not attack them, and they are not afraid of predators either.
Probably, the hawk cannot carry out a successful attack on its prey in such a situation, and the tit understands this. A hawk always attacks suddenly from the sky. In the same way, the pike makes a sudden sudden rush at the small fish. A shark also needs some kind of stimulus so that it decides to attack a potential victim.

I didn't have my camera next to me, so I had to use my iPhone. And there was a window between me and the hawk, which didn't improve the quality of the photo. I missed the chance to take a photo of a hawk from a distance of 4-5 meters. It's a rare chance.
Yes, this guy doesn't like to pose for photos. But this spring I caught him in the lens for the second time. Friends, do you remember the last hawk photo shoot?

The photos are really good. You are right to close the restaurant, the spring arrived and birds could take care of finding food.
Kind reminder to add your link. 🙂

Thanks 🙏🙏🙏

Ah, that Tit was smart knowing the Hawk could not get to him. Nice job taking its photo.

Thank you for your comment. 👍
