Today I want to show the biggest modern birds. Of course, it's an ostrich. During my Soviet youth, there was a very interesting and funny cartoon.
I can tell you a little bit about its essence. I hope that you friends will like it.
An ostrich was running through the desert and met a bald vulture. Vulture was surprised that the ostrich was running, but not flying. The ostrich said that he had never been able to fly. It seemed very strange to the vulture and he decided to teach the ostrich to fly. There were funny catchy phrases in the dialogue that we sometimes mention after almost 40 years.
"It's better to lose a day, fly in an hour" - this phrase vulture admonished the ostrich during his studies.
As a result, the Ostrich ran with such great speed that the vulture was very tired of flying behind the ostrich and fell from powerlessness.
Of course, telling a funny cartoon is a thankless task. Have you tried to tell "Tom and Jerry" to anyone?






I met this big feathered friend in the Dubai Safari Park. He walked right up to our bus and looked in our window.
Of course, I've seen ostriches before, but this time the impression was much more. Maybe it's because birds and all animals live much more comfortably in this safari park and there is a feeling that all this is happening in the wild. The only thing that marred the impression was the inconvenience in terms of photographing with a camera.
I could only take photos from the left side of the bus on my iPhone, because the bus we rode was not very spacious.
