This post is my response to the week 33 of the #memoirmonday initiative. The prompt for this week asks us _ what things are you proudest of in your life._ The link to the prompt is here
I’m Proud Of My Faith
I am proud of my faith. I cherish my beliefs. I hold in high esteem my faith in God. I treasure my trust and believe in Jesus. So, the most proudest thing in my life is my belief in Jesus Christ and His salvation to humanity.
Do You Care To Know?
There are several religions in the world. There are those who do not believe in the existence of God. To them that is their own religion. Whatever you base your faith on is your religion. If your faith is on the assumption that there is no God, then that is your religion. If you believe in some creatures or some object as your god ( like those who believe in snakes and sun and rocks, etc) that is your religion.
My faith is based on the light of the Truth which is the Word of God from the Holy Bible. The Bible tells us about the doom and destruction awaiting all mankind because of their sinful nature. Many people debunk this but this is the truth. We have all sinned and fall short of God’s glory. We need a Savior and a Redeemer who will return us back to God.
Jesus Christ is the Saviour who came from the Almighty God to the world to give Himself as the ransom for the Redemption of man. Those who believe in Jesus Christ and His salvation work are saved. I have believed and I am saved. I have the evidence of His redemption work in my. I feel His presence around me everyday. I hear His voice and receive His promptings in everything. Jesus Christ is real to me every ramifications, He is the True Son of God. He is God!
My Reason
Life is a race. We approach it from such a point of view. We must acknowledge that we must win this race. We should recognize who the real coach is. There are several personalities who disguise themselves as the coaches who are mere deceivers. One should commit himself to God who is our Creator and who alone knows the way to winning life’s race. God is the only Coach who guide us to winning the race of life. That is why I am very proud of my faith in God.
Life is a war. Every war has one option and that is winning. If you don't win the war you will either die in the war or you will become a captive. I do not want to die in the war of life neither do I want to be a captive. So, I commit myself to God who will give me victory in this war. This is why I am so proud of my belief in God.
