I like this architecture. Victorian? It looks quite impressive from the outside, I mean, all the details and ornaments around the windows and doors, and the angles and extensions on the house. Maybe they had some problems with the renovation? You can't / shouldn't renovate a building like that here. Usually, you have some "cultural heritage authority" here that tells you exactly how an old building has to be renovated. And sometimes it's too expensive.

It is, they and the etched stonework shows the intricacy they used to use when building these. Most people lived in shit-holes in the 1870's, like back to back terraced houses, especially in the north.
